To Rejoice. (when you don't feel like it)

with tears rolling down my face
I hope for a brighter day
I hope for your joy to sustain me,

I hope for your love to maintain me
this world can be cruel
this world can be cold
but your love is brighter, warmer, more beautiful
I will trust you forever
I will let go and let you overwhelm me with your love
You are perfect and true
sorry for the times I did not trust you
I am right in your will
and i will be your conduit
not just for the good
but I will feel the bad
to share in your suffering
you suffered for me
I can suffer for  you
for your glory
I won't pray for this thorn to be rid from my flesh
but I say,
Your will be done.

"This is the day The Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it." Ps. 118:24
