When My Faith Fails... (Encouragement for the weary)

Abba, I gave you permission to control my life. Please allow me to walk on water this week.

May I continually look toward you, so I won't sink. Please help me to realize that I don't have to 'prove' myself to you, that all I need to do is abide in you and you will take care of everything. I will let you be My Daddy, my father. Satan doesn't want me to believe that you have everything under control in my life.

Help me to build up my most holy faith so that when the attacks come I can rest peacefully from the comfort of my boat, filled up with your divine peace.

Let your joy be my strength. Help me to truly trust and believe your word wholeheartedly. Let me not be so caught up in warfare prayers that I lose your intimacy. Help me to feed on your word in my free time and to abide in your love. Help me to crucify my flesh. I don't want to have things my way, but YOUR perfect way. Help me to stop believing that your promises are conditional...you are faithful and just to do what you told me you would. If I have to work for your blessings, then it isn't a blessing—just my doing. And that's not holy Lord, and I want to be holy. I want to be holy as you are holy Lord.

I am a princess, My Daddy is The King of the Universe. All he wants for me to do is choose every second of the day to abide in his love, to stay in his mighty strong tower and to rest. I will give up all control and trust him fully.

I will watch Abba deliver me!

Last, I want to remind you that your strength must come from The Lord's mighty power within you.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 

Ephesians 6:10
