Tear Soaked Pillow

Her tears were soaking her pillow

her body was convulsing as it

grew tired producing tears

she felt alone,

like her cries, no one hears.

She felt the life she wanted

was slowing creeping away

her dreams were shattered

she didn't want to see the light of day

but in the twinkling of an eye

she felt Him come in the room

Jesus was there

holding her

breathing life into

wiping her tears away

telling her that he sees her

that He knows what pains her

and that he deeply cares

and that's really all she wanted

to know that somebody was there
