Finding Beauty in THE WAIT

God has not forgotten about you!
Keep waiting on God!
I am waiting on God to move on my behalf--but you know what?
I realize that God has already answered so many of my prayers.

For me, I spent a lot of my life waiting on 'THE NEXT BIG THING'

For example,
When I was in junior high I couldn't wait for high school,
when I was in high school couldn't wait for college,
in college I couldn't wait to graduate!

a cycle!

sometimes we can have our eyes on the next and miss out on the now. 

But keep crying out for what you want God to do in your life.

Whether you are waiting on healing, deliverance, marriage, breakthrough...don't give up!

I use to think I would never get rid of some of the addictions that were plaguing  me, but in His timing, He set me free!


I used to think God wasn't hearing my prayers as a child that my dad would be free from his bondage--but now He is on Fire for God.

For everything there is a season. A perfect timing for your breakthrough to come.
Some seasons you will cry and feel broken--but in that brokenness God is there and you can still have joy.

In that physical pain God is still sovereign and is right there with you.

I was looking a lot for the grand--my heart was pure. I wanted to be able to give my grandmother millions of dollars to show my gratitude for all she's done in my life.

But she passed away unexpectedly this year--and God showed me I was able to give her something way better than a million dollars-- a million smiles.

It is in the mundane things that God's fierce love is the greatest.

So don't overlook the small-- God is doing great things--NOW! Will you not perceive it?

As you wait don't overlook the blessings God has given you today.

God has beauty in today--Glory in today.

There is no such thing as boring--only beauty.


Homework
1.) Make a list of 3 things you want God to do in your life. What are some things you are waiting for?
2.) List 3 prayer requests that God has answered for you. What are your blessings?
3.) Ask God to show you 3 things that He has done in your life that you do not notice. Sometimes we can be blinded, Ask him to open your eyes!

Prayer
Dear Lord,
Thank you for being God over the wait. For all that we are waiting for you to do, may you take your time so patience can have it's perfect work. We yield ourselves to you--please help us have beauty in the wait. May our soul seek to wait on you. May our soul seek to serve others selflessly. May our soul hunger and thirst for you and may we love building your kingdom. Let us not miss out on the spender of today. We we rejoice over all you have done for us. We love you Lord.
Amen.

For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay. Habakkuk 2:3
