As I packed her lunch...

Abba woke me up
to serve
I packed my Momma's lunch
as she served
fruit
gummies
coconut water,
goodness
it felt so wonderful
she always packed my lunch as a child
through the turmoil and hardship she endured during those years
my pink glittery lunchbox that said 'friendship' on the side was always full
of good snacks
twinkes, and my favorite 'grape juice'
which is still my favorite as I do communion.

She sacrificed to have me in private school
she wanted me to have to best
even if it meant she had to lack
true love

but the best she's given me
is herself
and the Love of Christ.

Momma,
It was a joy packing a 'lunchbox' for you this morning

Abba,
thank you for loving me so much and giving me this perfect opportunity.

Forever your children,
I love you,
Thank you for blessing me with an AMAZING MOM
that many children don't get

AND MINE IS STILL POURING INTO ME,
THANK YOU FOR REDEEMING THE TIME


GIVE ME AN ABUNDANCE OF MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO SHOWER MY MOMMA WITH LOVE.

thank you for using me to be a joy to her, even just by me being her daughter
and thank you for carrying her burdens and holding her in Your precious arms all the nights I didn't care.

Thank you Momma for all the opportunities, wonderful you gave me and how you celebrated me all my life, even when I was mean to you.
And thank you Abba for giving me the chance to Honor my Mother, and teaching me honor like never before.
