2 a Days...

every 2 a days

like clock work

4 years

this summer

i will have the boys

look at me while they practice

their 2 a days 

on the track

can't wait for my 17 magazine to get in

so i can get my new workout

i want their attention

they look at the head cheerleader

she's perfect

flat stomach

nice butt

perfect

she runs with her sports bra and short soffee shorts

she does her backhandspring perfectly....

all the boys stare...

i'm sure even the coaches...

i feel my flab

covered by a t-shirt

but my dream

is to one day

run in my sports bra

and have

all eyes

on me

next year's two a days

i will have it.

Years Later

that girl knows

that Jesus sees her as perfect

Her body is a temple of The Holy Spirit

not meant to be lusted after

I confused and was manipulated to think

that lust was love

but it was just a counterfeit

The Love of Christ

was always there for me

The attention and acceptance I craved

I didn't have to Fight For

Because Jesus already accepted me

Fully

The Love of a Father she didn't have tangibly in her life

She wanted in the lustful eyes of men

even the envious stares of girls

but All In All

Jesus Told her Her worth

and That 

Is Perfection.
